Murtaza is a broad-based industry professional with extensive experience in various technical and leadership roles across the hydrocarbon funnel. Experience ranges from operational roles to subsurface leadership roles, in deepwater to remote onshore environments. Murtaza has spent a significant portion of the first decade of his career, at the wellsite, executing well completion and services operations. Developing young industry professionals is a particular skill that he has developed over the years.
Murtaza has the expertise to build capability portfolios in diverse areas of Petroleum Engineering, Production Technology, Well Engineering, Field Development Planning, Well & Reservoir Management, Digital Oilfield, Reserves & Resources Evaluation, Portfolio Evaluation, Arbitration Technical Support.
With over 18 years in oil and gas, Zulfiqar Dholkawala is a Petroleum & Well Engineer with expertise in Production Technology, Well Operations, and Completion Engineering. Since 2020, he has been involved in Energy Transition, leading Carbon Capture & Sequestration (CCS) and Underground Hydrogen Storage (UHS) projects. He holds a Master of Engineering Science in Petroleum from the University of Adelaide.
With excellent inter-personal skills and the ability to interface efficiently across various technical and non-technical disciplines, Zulfiqar has managed and contributed to key Australian FDP and brownfield projects where he ensured safe, efficient operations and innovative production/injection strategies.
Zulfiqar has presented at conferences such as SPE and EAGE, guest-lectured at Australian universities, and has shared his insights on CCS with non-technical and senior management operator teams.
